These advantages include more colourful, active fishes and better health for your fishes. There are several different types of foods that can be used to diversify your fishes diet without being much work for you. Freeze tried food: There are a large number of freeze dried foods available. This can be stored and bought just like dry food. Each type of freeze tried food has it one unique characteristic and you can have several kinds at home if you want to diversify your fishes diets. Frozen food: This is frozen food such as frozen bloodworms and they need to be stored in the freezer. There are a large number of different kinds how all are good foods for fishes although some shouldn\t be used in to large amounts. Frozen food has the advantage that fishes love it and frozen food can be used to get fishes that have been sick to start eating again. There are many species that doesn\t it flake food that eats frozen food however these species are not recommendable for the beginner. Live food: Live food can be hard to get a hold of but it is worth the trouble to feed your fishes live food every once in a while when you see how the living food triggers hunting and feeding instincts in your fishes that you wont be able to observe if you don\t feed them with live food. It\s up to you to decide what kinds of food you wont to give your fishes but we strongly recommend es a diversified diet, and if you move on to less hardy fishes a diversified diet will become a necessity. Never feed your fishes more then they can eat in two minutes. If there is food left on the bottom after the feeding you should remove it to keep the water clean. Feed adult fishes 1-2 times a day and young fishes 3-4 times a day. Adult fishes are benefited by a day without food every now and then. Parker Danielhttp://www.beginner-aquariums.com
